Digestive system

The function of the digestive system is to break down food and separate the waste from the nutrients and then it  absorbs the nutrients so they can be delivered to the circulatory system for disputation.it also gets rid of waste.
The organs are the mouth: Were the food is chewed, esophagus: Transports food from the mouth to the stomach, stomach: Principally the organ where food is broken into smaller units, Small Intestine: Aids in digestion and nutrient absorption, Liver:  Aids in the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and proteins. Large Intestine: Functions primarily to absorb water, dry out indigestible foods and eliminate waste products. \

 Interactment: The digestive works with the circular system so it can get the absorbed nutrients distributed through your body. The digestive system also works with the excretory system, The digestive system collects and removes undigested solids, while the excretory system filters compounds from the blood stream and collects them in urine.

I think that the digestive system is like a car because when the food enters the mouth it's like when the gas enters the car, then the esophagus is like the pipe that goes from the filler to the tank would be compared to when a substance goes through the throat and to the stomach, then the gas tank is like stomach because that's were the gas is held an with the stomach that is were the food is held. Then the intestines are compared to the engine of the car because the engine takes out what it needs from the gas just like the intestines take nutrients from the food we eat. Then the anus is compared to the tailpipe, I don't have to say more.

Structure and function: I think that the esophagus is shaped the way it is because the purpose of it is so food travels from the mouth to stomach, the only way it does that is if it has the space (being a tube) for the food to not get stuck in. So of course it looks like a tube if it is a tube.

Summary : A roller coaster ride is a thrilling experience which involves a lot of physics. Part of the physics of a roller coaster is the physics of work and energy. The ride often begins as a chain and motor which exerts a force on the train of cars to lift the train to the top of a vary tall hill.
